dvance Madison Jefferson County invites you to the final of its four part 'Prosperity Series' Tuesday, October 9th at the Venture Out Business Center in Madison, Indiana. Informal social gathering begins at 6:30p.m, with the presentation beginning at 7p.m. The evening will be followed by community conversation, questions and answers. The public is invited to attend and may register 'at the door.' Numerous elected officials, community leaders and concerned citizens have already registered to attend the popular collaborative community series.
The 'Prosperity Series' is designed to address citizen and leaders concerns about both economic development and community progress and prosperity. Speaker Scott Hutcheson, Assistant Director of the Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD) and expert in 'Strategic Doing' has presented at other speaking engagements that "Strategic Doing is neither 'top-down' nor 'bottom-up'...it combines open participation with leadership guidance." Hutcheson's tactics will provide this critical information, locate missing parts of the 'plan to action puzzle' and then guide through common barriers, pitfalls and traps that routinely lead to communities actually planning their own failures.
Join us on Tuesday, October 9th, 2012 at the Venture Out Business Center at 6:30 p.m. for networking, presentation/conversation to begin at 7:00 p.m.
